Payoneer is an Internet-based financial services business that allows users to transfer money and receive payments through re-loadable prepaid MasterCard debit cards. Now lets see what troubled us and somewhat disappointed us and might disappoint you too.

1. Annual Fee On the Card - 6/10

   The annual fee isn't a huge amount and Payoneer has tried to keep it as low as possible. However, it still wasn't what we expected. When you see the word free, the first thought that comes to your mind is that the card is completely free with no card charges included anywhere. I'm afraid, thats not the case. Payoneer charges $30 yearly for the card. But if your Payoneer account runs empty and you leave it like that for a month or so, your account temporarily deactivates. When deactivated, the yearly card fee doesn't imply and you do not have to pay the yearly fee. No debt. Reactivating the card is quite easy and fast. You just have to login to your account and click "once" to activate.

2. Private Loads Aren't Allowed

   "Payoneer is a US payment service to receive payments". When they say that, it means you cannot load your card from your credit card. Nor wire any money to your account unless you have a US bank account (-means you're a US citizen). So, technically all the money in your Payoneer account will be the money that you have earned and/or received from US companies or Payoneer's mass pay-out partners.
